How it works
Portable power, rented in a few taps.
Last Bar is in development
Rental availability, pricing, payment arrangements and return options will be confirmed before launch. From low battery to back out.
Step 1: Find a participating station
Last Bar stations are intended to sit in participating venues and at partner events — somewhere visible, like near the bar or entrance.
There are no Last Bar stations yet. We'll publish locations once venues have agreed and stations are installed.
Step 2: Read the rental instructions
Each station should show clear on-screen instructions, including the price and how returns work, before you commit to anything.
Full rental terms will be published before launch so you can read them in advance.
Step 3: Pay and authorise the rental
Tap a contactless card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on the station. Anyone can pay, so a friend can rent one for you.
When you rent, a temporary hold of £25 is placed on your card. When you return the power bank, you're only charged for the time you used and the rest of the hold is released. Your bank may take 2–7 days to release it.
Step 4: Take your power bank
Once payment is accepted, the station is intended to release a charged power bank automatically.
Every power bank has three cables built in: USB-C (iPhone 15 and newer, and most Android phones), Lightning (iPhone 14 and older) and Micro-USB (older Android phones). So it works with almost any phone.
Step 5: Power up while you're out
Keep the power bank with you and charge your phone as you go — no need to stay near a socket.
Step 6: Return it to a compatible station
Return the power bank to a compatible Last Bar station according to the rental terms. Where you can return it will depend on the final station network.
No late fees. You pay the hourly rate, up to £12 a day, until you return it. If it isn't returned within 48 hours, the total charge is £25 and the power bank is yours to keep.
Step 7: If something goes wrong
If a station won't accept a return, a payment looks wrong or a power bank isn't working, you should be able to contact Last Bar for help.
Customer support arrangements will be confirmed before launch.
